That is called lucid dreaming. It takes a lot of time and practice to even be able to do it and even more to master it. Why Robin Hood though? That guy from the little mermaid is way better. He is a human at least.

Easy to do in a waking state, but in a dream - watch lots of robin hood videos every evening. Imagine yourself as maid Marian. Wear a personal stereo or dvd player to bed with a relaxation tape which ens with music from robin hood. If you make the tape yourself you could mention robin and dating him during the relaxation bit. hopefully you will drift off to sleep and have your dream - but there are no guarantees.
